Company History
Unique Grup was established in January 2023 as a continuation of Gurmey Organik A.Ş., operating independently from its other partners. Gurmey was originally founded in March 2010 by Agricultural Engineer Bahadır Ünsal, who worked as an Agricultural Project Consultant and Procurement Manager at the German organic agricultural company Rapunzel between 2007-2012.
With the experience gained at Rapunzel, Bahadır Unsal focused on creating his own projects and brands. Today, the company operates with approximately 10 brands, producing products in accordance with international quality parameters through contract manufacturing. The company also supplies organic agricultural raw materials (dried tomatoes, dried grapes, vine leaves, preserves, ready meals, stuffed vine leaves, as well as organic projects for apples, carrots, cherries, figs, apricots, olives, etc.) and sells them to exporter companies.
Additionally, as a Group Company, UNIQUE GRUP SAMARKAND was established in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, where it carries out production activities in a 7,000 m² area. The company also has a semi-finished production facility in Akhisar, Turkey, and through a production agreement with Aydın Efeler Municipality, manufactures products in the Zeybek A.Ş. factory owned by the municipality, supporting the Women's Labor Cooperative.
